Business Recap

Business Recap

Good morning all,

Thank you for checking out my Friday Blog. This week I wanted to give a little business recap and share some of the things we are working on. We have officially been in business for 9 months, and 5 of those 9 months we have had the Nickels Logo(pending trademark).

Our mission is to continue to share our love and passion for basketball all while making it fun to train with us, play with us and use and wear all items from our store. The Nickels Brand will be "bigger" than basketball. Meaning, we are a family. We do this to bring people together!

The site:

  • The basketballs continue to be our best seller, we have another design in the works.
  • Sweatpants and socks are the best sellers for clothes
  • We've recently partnered with a marketing team to help grow the online store
  • Just recently we hit our 100th order! Got to start somewhere, right?
  • Coming soon - customizable orders and packages for teams.

Trainings:

  • Currently we are training once a week on Sunday afternoons, as a team.
  • We have a few 1:1 clients we also train, specifically on shooting.
  • Coming soon - gym time and acquiring our own space.

Coaching:

  • I, Coach Adam, will continue to grow as a coach and challenge myself to push our youth to be the best version of themselves, in and outside of sports.
  • Currently coaching as a Varsity assistant at a high school, head coach for Team Nickels 11u and 8u teams, and Head Track coach at the boys Elementary school.
  • Coaching is my passion, not sure where this journey will lead me but I look forward continuing on it.

The process continues. We will continue to move forward with the values of integrity and passion. We appreciate any and all support! We love getting messages about the progress we have made. We love sharing our story on Social Media. Come join the journey with us.

The Nickels Brand is where aggression meets compassion. In the wise words of my mother, "always be kind". That statement can always be true. Even when competing! Just because you knock someone down does not mean you can't help them up.

With love,

Coach Adam Nicholson
